Slowly Ethically Handcrafted

Many women in Thailand face challenges like unemployment, limited access to education, and family pressure to marry young. Without opportunities, it's hard to break the cycle of poverty. These issues are especially tough for marginalised groups, like Burmese women, who often struggle due to language barriers and lack of resources.

Our mission is to provide opportunities by offering training and support. Seeds of Change empowers underprivileged Thai and Burmese women by offering vocational training in sewing and crafting and helping them find jobs. We use upcycled materials that have been donated to our workshop in Phuket. Trainees earn income during their training, boosting the local economy.

Everything in our shop is hand made by our team of woman artisans. By making a purchase you are empowering them to build a better future for themselves and their families.

What we do

We teach valuable sewing and crafting skills, to local women in need of help. We are aiming to self fund this project through the sales of our handmade products. The goal is to give opportunities to those in need and the possibility of a sustainable future.

Who we help

The students we take on are from a wide variety of backgrounds, from back-to-work mums, younger students who want a skill but cannot afford the education and older people who never had these opportunities.

Community outreach

We believe in the power of community. That's why we work to build strong relationships with the people we serve. Our outreach programs help us to connect with those in need and provide support in a variety of ways.

How we do it

We take donated clothes, curtains, linens and other fabrics, save them from landfill and repurpose
them into the lovely fabric items you see in our shop, online, in retail shops and hotels.

Our mission

Our mission is to make this charity self sustainable by selling our unique items to support our training program and current employees. All you need to do to support us is buy one or more of our products.
