WHAT WE DO, who we help and how we do it

We take on students and teach them how to sew and craft. The unique items we teach them to make are then sold all over Phuket, and beyond. After training the students have the option to work at SOC and earn an income.

The students we take on are from a wide variety of backgrounds, from back-to-work mums, younger students who want a skill but cannot afford the education and older people who never had these opportunities.

We believe in the power of community. That's why we work to build strong relationships with the people we serve. Our outreach programs help us to connect with those in need and provide support in a variety of ways.

We take donated clothes, curtains, linens and other fabrics, save them from landfill. and repurpose them into the lovely fabric items you see in our shop, online, in retail shops and hotels.

Our goal is to make this charity self sustainable by selling our unique items to support our training program and current employees. All you need to do to support us is buy one or more of our products.
