Becoming a Housekeeper and Learning Basic English
Welcome to Seeds of Change (SOC), where we transform individuals into skilled seamstresses and seamsters. From our humble beginnings as a sewing education initiative, SOC has evolved into a thriving school. Our team of 10 dedicated professionals, all former students, now work full-time for SOC, ensuring the success of our program.
Building on our achievements, we are excited to introduce a new training course that combines English language skills with comprehensive housekeeping training. Over the course of 8 weeks, you will acquire essential English communication abilities to interact confidently with tourists. Additionally, our housekeeping training will equip you with the expertise to excel in various hospitality settings, including hotels, guesthouses, and villas in Phuket. We go beyond traditional hotel schools, focusing on developing your awareness, teamwork, and attention to detail in identifying areas that require cleaning. Our goal is to make you self-sufficient, confident, and indispensable to any future employer.
But that’s not all. Our training program also emphasizes multitasking abilities, ensuring you become a versatile professional. You will gain knowledge in restaurant service, sales techniques, sewing, and most importantly, customer relations. This comprehensive skill set will set you apart and open doors to diverse career opportunities.
At SOC, we welcome individuals from all backgrounds. Whether you are Burmese with some English skills and necessary paperwork, or Thai, we are here to support your journey.
During the 8-week hospitality training, you will attend classes from Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm. We provide a fair monthly wage of 6,000 THB while you learn. This ensures that you can make the decision to leave your current job or situation, pursue a new career, and still provide for your family.
